After exercise it is important to refuel but it doesn’t mean you can load up on sweets and crisps. If you’re not having a meal for a few hours, either pack a snack to have while you’re out, or grab a quick bite when you get home.
 
Here are some healthy snack ideas:
  • Wholemeal scone
  • Bagel
  • A banana or apple
  • Ham/tuna/chicken sandwich
  • Fruit bread
  • Bowl of breakfast cereal
  • Cereal bar
  • Handful of dried fruit
  • A low fat yoghurt
